Producers can take a large, leading role or a more collaborative role in the recording process.
Every musical project can benefit from an outside opinion and a mastering engineer is a great last line of defense. After listening to the same mix for hours on end your ears become biased and you won’t notice certain issues. Thankfully the mastering engineer can catch these problems in your mix and fix them before anyone else hears. Beyond just fixing problems themselves, we’ll often give you optional mix tips that you can improve on before we do the work.
